    First time havin’ a Salvia trip was with this extract. It was magic, started seeing a world of small houses and dwarves in my room, my bed was making waves pushing me on my wall, then I felt like these things itching all over my body and before I even realised it, I was laughing my ass off. This lasted about 2 minutes, then for the next 15 I had vision distortions. Best trip I ever had in fact. Can’t imagine myself on x50 and over!

    My first experience was with Salvia Divinorum leaves, I chewed them. After that I tried smoking the 5X extract.
    It has to be said I had no effect whatsoever the first 2 times when I smoked the 5X extract.

    When chewing the leaves for over 45 minutes I experienced a mild high and whenever a reflection of the sun struck my eyes I noticed a thick ray of light that stayed there for a while. Colors were more intense and it seemed like there was fog all around me in my living room. The fog I am talking about cannot have been smoke since I wasn’t smoking during this session. I felt very relaxed and moved slowly.

    The third time smoking the 5X extract it worked and I had a huge laugh kick. For a moment I had the idea I had the answer to every question I ever asked myself. As soon as I realized how bizarre this was I started laughing even louder. This confused me a bit. I never left this reality, it felt like I was weighing a ton and could not move a muscle!

    This last experience was very interesting because it made me realize I might have all the answers to my own questions. Maybe they are already somewhere in my head and I only have to find a way to access this part of my consciousness? This definitely needs more research.

    The 10X experience was very intense for me. I did it twice, once accompanied by a very good friend a psychonaut, the 2nd time all by myself. I recommend you always have a sitter!

    When I started the trip with my friend we decided he would go first. He had a very long laugh kick and was trying to talk to me. My friend tried to stand up but never made it there. He came back to me after 15 minutes and explained he was a bit scared in the beginning when the effect hit him but he very soon realized he had to go with the trip and not fight it in any way. Overall he enjoyed it and wants to try it again in a little while.

    My trip was very crazy and amazed me completely. As soon as the effect hit me I stood up and started walking around. My friend told me I went right passed all object in the room, not touching them, even though I was moving very slow and uncoordinated.
    It even went this far that I walked outside still trying to talk to my friend. When I arrived outside I noticed mountains behind the houses across the street even though we clearly don’t have mountains in my street.
    I spoke to my friend and told him I had to show him ‘something’. He asked me multiple times what this something was. I just told him he had to see it himself to understand it. I arrived at the place that I wanted to show my friend (15 meters from my house on a small grass field) and just stood there. He asked me again, what do you want me to see? Then I came back to reality and completely forgot what I was looking for.

    The 2nd session of 10X was different from any of my other Salvia experiences. I was all by myself. Remember to have a sitter, I won’t be doing this again!

    I took a long & large hit of a bong with a well loaded bowl of Salvia extract. I kept the smoke in my lungs as long as I could but after 30 seconds I already felt reality was slipping away…

    I was on my bed looking at the ceiling, everything became foggy again.

    Large clouds in my room and I felt the presence of another entity. I tried to contact ‘it’. I succeeded but could not see, smell or touch her. Yes, Her. It was a woman, not a girl, a woman.
    I remember her asking if I was willing to come with her, not asking with words but asking by working my emotions.

    I noticed I was trying to keep my eyes shut but then relaxed and opened them. I was lying in a huge, and I mean HUGE grass field and all around me there were rabbits. Thousands, maybe millions of rabbits as far as I could see. I panicked and told her I did not want a ‘white rabbit’. I do not know why I specifically said ‘White Rabbit’. Maybe because Jefferson Airplane is one of my favorite songs haha. The Rabbits I saw where all grey expect for one in the center, this one was white.

    It felt like I was sucked into another reality and as soon as I wanted to leave it I was into chaos again. I found myself in a dimension of colliding realities and my brain was working overtime. Right at the point where I forgot about ‘my own identity’, I wanted to go back to reality as I knew it before the trip.

    This happened after a few minutes that felt like a day, I was happily in shock and had some tea to calm down the nerves. I slept really well afterwards and the next day I felt kind of mentally reborn.

    This was my first time, and after hearing all the salvia horror stories online I was understandably nervous, so I just dropped a pinch in my pipe the first time. That did practically nothing, so next time I poured about 1/2 a gram in and took a few deep tokes. Nothing seemed to be happening after about 20 seconds, but I took one last deep puff of it and shut my eyes. It was kind of like being in a dream. I was outside of my present reality. I couldn’t feel the cold. I started to see this strange waving, like the northern lights sort of, and I could hear a song playing. It was the tune of an electro swing song I remembered well, but instead of lyrics, the tune just went “boing boing boing” the whole time, and I briefly remember something about a frog. Anyway I started to realize what was happening, and it was like looking down at your body while in a dream. I knew that I was sitting there in real life with a pipe in my hands but I could almost choose whether or not to go back to reality. I opened my eyes, the world was spinning a little bit. I hadn’t moved an inch the whole time. There was some memory loss after, I kept forgetting whether I had my pipe, lighter and salvia bag with me and I checked maybe 3 times on my walk home. It wasn’t scary like the stories, it was just weird and cool. Can’t wait to try the 20x. Anyway this site is just too good, the shipping was fast, the tracking was flawless, and the customer service is great. Never ordering anywhere else.

      EDIT: I smoked the rest of it, which was a bit more than 1/4 gram. My second trip was a lot milder. I held in smoke and shut my eyes, and I started to feel and hear my heartbeat in my head. Thump, thump, thump. It kept getting louder, and I could feel it in my head more and more. It only lasted for like a minute until I realized what was happening. Crazy how one trip is so different for the other.

    My first (and only) time so far was about a year ago. I was in Myrtle Beach and I smoked it in the hotel room. My fiancé was on one bed, I was on the other. Immediately after smoking it, i felt really heavy and like there were millions of needles holding me to the bed. I looked down at my hands and they looked extremely red and tiny. My voice sounded tiny and squeaky in my head. I looked over at my fiancé and he had the biggest grin on his face and somehow in my mind it was scary? I was starting sentences but not finishing them. Then I would feel extremely dumb for not finishing them.

    Then the second part kicked in. I looked up at the curtain of the sliding glass door and it started moving and flashing. That started this weird spiral of me hallucinating. Once the curtain started moving, it kept getting faster until everything was spinning. It stopped spinning and I was suddenly in this weird diner that was down the road from the hotel. Looked super 50s-60s inside. Sort of like a Waffle House. It had the red and yellow awning above where the cooks/kitchen was. It was almost dark. The dining area was dark but the kitchen was lit up in the back. I saw a figure leaning over the coffee maker and I figured it was just a cook. No.
    He looked up at me and I noticed it was Tom from Tom and Jerry.

    As I was slowly coming back into being conscious, I still saw Tom, but he was chasing Jerry around the hotel room. Then the lamp in the corner somehow morphed into Tom and he was making an evil smiling face and wringing his hands. Most people would be scared to death but honestly it was my favorite part of the trip.

    After that though, I felt really sad and like I hated myself. I felt completely dissatisfied with life.

    20X is the best!! You can choose a little pinch, medium pinch or large pinch. The 40 X is too easy to go on a heavy trip, and less that 20X is needing to smoke too much more. For me, anyway, a heavy tripper since 1969. Putting a little on good homegrown bud makes it like Cambodian Red, or more, a mescaline trip. One hit off large match head size of the 40 X reminds me of a 1200mmg acid trip. Salvia is beautiful and at the right level I can play my electric guitar very well and very heavy. Only on the 20 X, half pinch. The colors are southwestern, browns and tans, golds predominate in decorative edging like churches or fractal patterns. Definitely a body experience with vibration of skin and indefinite size, to a warm sensation. The best music is the most intricate and psychedelic like the Moody Blues. The greatest thing is it only lasts 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, instead of all day.

      To extract the active agent from Salvia, the most effective method is by smoking it. The active agent requires high consistent heat to become active and produce its effects. Alternatively, you can use dried leaves to make a tea, but please note that the effects are likely to be very weak.

      It’s worth mentioning that 1 ounce of Salvia leaves contains only 1.2mg/g of salvianorin A, so the potency can vary. The effects of Salvia largely depend on what you’re seeking from it. Mazatec shamans in Mexico have traditionally used it for spiritual and healing practices. The effects of consuming tea would be likely be closer to healing then spiritual.

How do I use Salvia Extracts ?

What is the difference between Salvia 10x, 20x, 40x and 60x ?

What is the difference between 10x, 20x, 40x, and 60x ? What does it all mean and why are you paying so much more for Salvia 60x versus 10x. Salvia divinorum leaves contain Salvianorin-A which is what makes Salvia special and causes its hallucinogenic effects. 1 oz of Salvia divinorum leaves contains approximately 1.2 mg of Salvianorin-A, you have to chew 1 oz of fresh Salvia leaves just to get 1.2 mg of Salvianorin-A, which has very weak effects. Chewing Salvia divinorum leaves can be great if you are using it for healing purposes, but not for spiritual Quests. Central Americans that used Salvia divinorum in rituals had to burn a very large stack of salvia leaves for their shaman to get enough salvianorina-A to have his vision quests. Rest assured no bond fires required with Salvia Extracts.

We remove all the useless salvia plant matter and extract the active compounds redeposit them into a single gram. Lets take Salvia 10x  1 gram as an example, in each gram you will find 10 times what you find in 1 oz of Salvia leaves, it takes 10 oz of leaves to make 1 gram of Salvia 10x. What is a Salvia divinorum experience like?

It is almost certainly not like what you expect. Even if you have considerable experience with other psychoactive drugs, you will find that salvia is significantly different from what you may have encountered before. Salvia divinorum is unique, and it is best understood on its own terms, and not by analogy with other substances. Salvia is not a recreational drug, rather, it is best used by those wishing to explore deep meditative states, spiritual realms, mysticism, the nature of consciousness and reality, or the possibilities of shamanistic healing. Experiences vary with the individual, set, and setting as well as with dose and route of administration. It produces a short-lived inebriation that is very different from that of alcohol. However, like alcohol it interferes with the ability to drive, produces incoordination (ataxia), and may produce slurred speech.

The inebriation, at low doses, can facilitate aesthetic and sensual appreciation. However, the experience is not marijuana-like, and salvia is not a marijuana substitute. At somewhat higher doses, visionary trances occur. The lowest level visions consist mainly of closed-eye imagery somewhat similar to the hypnagogic phenomena that many people experience when falling asleep. These tend to be two dimensional faint images. The term “eye candy” is an appropriate description of the interesting closed eye visuals that are not confused with reality. At this level communication with others is still easy and one can move about although clumsiness will occur. With a higher dose vivid visual images occur even with eyes open, and with eyes closed one may completely enter the visionary world, and it will seem quite real, but upon opening ones eyes one will reestablish contact with ones surroundings. Speech patterns may be interfered with and communication is difficult. At still higher doses, one remains conscious but completely enters an inner realm and loses all contact with ones actual surroundings. Some people may move around in this deep trance state and for this reason a sitter is required for anyone seeking to explore such deep levels. With very high dosage a brief period of unconsciousness or at least the inability to subsequently remember the experience will occur. It is useful to have a scale to describe salvia experiences. One such rating scale is based on the mnemonic S-A-L-V-I-A.

Maybe the scale can help me know what to expect. What’s the scale?

The scale describes six different levels of effects, each one more intense than the previous. The overall intensity of a salvia divinorum experience is scored according to the highest scale level attained during the course of the experience.

S-A-L-V-I-A Trip Rating Scale

  • S – SUBTLE effects > Level 1
    Feel a sense of relaxation and increased sensual appreciation. This mild salvia trip is great for meditation and may help with sexual pleasure.
  • A – ALTERED perception > Level 2
    Colours and textures become more vivid, your thinking becomes less logical, and your mind more playful. Enjoy a greater appreciation for sounds/music. No visions occur at this level.
  • L – LIGHT visionary state > Level 3
    Closed eye visuals (clear imagery: vision of objects and designs, pattern and colour distortions). The effects of open-eye visuals are similar to the hypnagogic phenomena that some people experience at sleep onset; objects in the room will appear to be moving, but are distinguishable from reality.
  • V – VIVID visionary state > Level 4
    Open-eyes: Complex three-dimensional realistic appearing scenes occur (e.g. having a birds eye view of a city with tiny people walking around in it).  Closed eyes: Enter a dreamlike/fantasy world where everything will feel real and indistinguishable from reality: Journey to other lands (foreign or imaginary), meet with beings (entities, spirits), time travel to other ages, live the life of another being.
  • I – IMMATERIAL existence > Level 5
    At this stage you may no longer be aware of your body (out of body experience). You will have some lucid thoughts but will have merged completely into the experience. You’ll loose complete touch with reality (where your physical body is and the room and people in it), experiences include: Merging with God/dess, tapping into your mind and/or universal consciousness, fusion with objects (merging with furniture piece)
  • A – AMNESIC effects > Level 6
    Loss of consciousness. The individual may fall, remain immobile or thrash around. This is not a desirable level, because you will not be able to recall the experience. For this reason a sitter is essential to ensure the safety of someone experiencing either Level 5 or Level 6.
